Roytec has signed an exclusive agreement to supply & support BGRIMM-MAT flotation cells in Africa.
The Beijing General Research Institute for Mining & Metallurgy (BGRIMM) have been active in flotation research, design and construction since 1956 and their Machinery & Automation Technology division (BGRIMM-MAT) is Asia’s leading float cell supplier with over 20,000 float cells in operation and over 80% of the Asian market.
BGRIMM-MAT have been active in South Africa with a large copper sulphide flotation project using 320m3 cells due to be commissioned in Q3 2016. This contract follows the success of BGRIMM-MAT float cells on PGMs in the Rustenburg area and on copper oxides & sulphides in the DRC and Zambia.
Roytec will support BGRIMM-MAT with a range of services including testwork, equipment sizing, adaption to South African standards, project execution, commissioning, after sales service and local stocking of spares.
The combination of BGRIMM’s leading technology, economical Chinese fabrication and strong local support from Roytec gives local clients a very attractive option for their flotation needs.
